Armor Sandbox

Privacy Policy

Updated 20 October 2026 (rewarded videos where Google Play does not sell)

The Armor Sandbox app collects, stores and transmits no personal data. The one exception is a third party, and only if you choose it: the Yandex rewarded videos, where Google Play does not sell (below). There is no account, no sign-in and no server: the app runs entirely on your device.

What stays on your device

The projectiles and targets you create, along with your preferences (language, quality, settings), are written to the app's own local storage. They never leave the device and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Network

The app makes no network requests of its own. There is no server of ours, no telemetry and no advertising, except the videos you choose to watch where Google Play does not sell (below). The simulation, your library and your preferences are entirely local.

On Android, the internet permission appears on the Play listing because Google's own billing library declares it, and that is what makes buying the full version possible. On iPhone, the purchase goes through Apple's own purchase system, the App Store. Either way, that traffic is between your device and the store; nothing of ours travels over it.

Files you share

When you export a design, the app writes a file and hands it to the system share sheet. Where it goes is your choice, made outside the app. The file contains only the drawing.

The same goes for the videos and photos you record in the app. On iPhone, if you tap "Save Video" or "Save Image" in that sheet, it is the system itself that asks your permission to add the file to Photos. The app does not read your photo library.

Purchases

The full-version purchase is handled by Google Play on Android, or by Apple's App Store on iPhone. The app only learns that a purchase exists; no payment details pass through it or are visible to it. The store's own privacy policy, Google's or Apple's, governs that data.

Rewarded videos, only where Google Play does not sell

In countries where Google Play does not sell the full version (today, Russia), the Google Play version of the app offers rewarded videos from the Yandex advertising network instead of the purchase: each video watched gives some creator mode time, one more library slot or one export. In every other country, in the full version, on iPhone and on the computer, there are no ads at all and the app does not talk to Yandex.

A video only plays if you tap to watch it. Until that tap, nothing from Yandex runs in the app. From then on, until the app closes, Yandex's advertising software (with the AppMetrica analytics that comes with it) sends Yandex data about the device and the ad, such as the Android advertising ID, the device model and system, the language, the network and IP address, the app and what happened with the ad. Yandex decides how that data is used, under its own privacy policy. You can reset or turn off the advertising ID in the Android settings, under Google, Ads.

The creator mode time, the slots and the exports you earn are kept only on your device. We receive none of it, nor the data Yandex receives.

The website and the launch list

The app still collects nothing. The only collection happens on the armorsandbox.com website, and only if you ask for it: if you leave your email to hear about the launch, we keep the email, the platform you chose (phone or Windows), the page language and the date. Nothing else goes on the list: no name, no IP address.

That email is used only to tell you about Armor Sandbox's launch on the platform you chose. Android and iPhone share one list, the phone list: if you sign up through either button, you may hear about the launch on both. The list lives on our web hosting and, when the notice goes out, passes through an email delivery service that uses it for nothing else. It is never sold or shared.

Every notice carries a link to leave the list, and you can ask at any time, at the address at the end of this page, for your email to be deleted. The basis for keeping it is your consent, given when you send the form.

Website visit statistics

The armorsandbox.com website counts the visits it gets, so we know where people come from and what works on the page. It does this without cookies, without storing anything on your device, and without any third-party service: the counting runs on our own server.

What gets recorded: the page opened and the time; where the visit came from (the previous site, the app that opened the link, or the campaign tag in the link); the country, estimated from the device's time zone; the browser language; the device type, operating system, browser and screen size; which buttons on the site were tapped; how far the page was scrolled; and how long it stayed open in view.

The IP address is used only at the moment of the visit, together with the browser, to create a code that changes every day and only serves to avoid counting the same person twice on the same day. The IP is not stored, and one day's code cannot be linked to the next day's or to anyone. Records are kept for up to 13 months; after that only each day's totals remain. None of this is sold or shared.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, of any age. The Yandex videos, only where Google Play does not sell and only if you tap to watch, follow Yandex's policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. If the app ever starts using the network, it will be said here and will be visible in the permissions before any update.
